Boys Night Out Return For Show

Boys Night Out

Boys Night Out are back... if only for one night.

Original members Jeff Tarbender Davis (guitar), Rob Pasalic (guitar), Dave Costa (bass), Ben Arseneau (drums) and Connor Lovat-Fraser (vocals) are putting an end to the band's unofficial hiatus — which began in late 2007 — to play a show in Toronto.

No date or venue has been set for the concert, but the band hope to play on Oct. 24.

"Well, you know what they say, a shit leopard can't change its spots," the Burlington pop punk act wrote in a MySpace blog post on Wednesday. "After what feels like a hundred years of inactivity….we're going to play a show."

"Now to avoid any confusion, we're not saying this is our last show ever...buuut, it also doesn't mean that we're going to start touring again. It's just one show...however, it will be a fairly special show. In fact, it will be a once in a lifetime kind of show."

The pop punk act will perform all tracks from 2002's Broken Bones And Bloody Kisses EP and 2003's Make Yourself Sick LP.

"We're going to keep tickets cheap as hell, so you can save your money to buy us drinks at the bar. This is going to be an awesome night, we hope to see lots of old friends from all over the place come out to party."

Locations to purchase advance tickets will be announced once the band have confirmed a venue.

Boys Night Out released their self-titled album in 2007.

Earlier this year, Lovat-Fraser and producer Scott Komer formed a band called Hard Calibers. Pasalic now sings and plays guitar with Saint Alvia, which he formed after leaving Boysnightout in 2005.
