Woodhands have remixed
Peter Bjorn And John's "Nothing To Worry About" and are reportedly working on the follow-up to last year's
Heart Attack.
According to
Clink magazine, the disc will be called
Remorsecapade and will be out later this year. No other information is known about the album yet.
You can hear Woodhands' disco-fied take on PB&J's "Nothing To Worry About"
here.
"The vocal lines are so strong that it was easy to build a dance track around them, and the acoustic piano in the back end was our way of bringing out the sadness in the voice while still keeping the track bouncing," Werb told
Clink about the remix. "And somehow, even though we sped everything up, our version comes out twice as long. Dance music: go figure."
Woodhands covered Eddy Grant's
"Electric Avenue" and Katy Perry's
"I Kissed A Girl" earlier this year.
You can see Werb and drummer Paul Banwatt at these gigs in support of
Heart Attack:
Aug. 12 Indianapolis, IN @ Radio Radio
Aug. 14 Brooklyn, NY @ Littlefield
Aug. 15 New York, NY @ Tribeca Field (GBH Party)
Sept. 12 Morrison, CO @ Red Rocks Amphitheatre (Monolith Festival)
