The Sounds Announce World Tour

New wave quintet The Sounds have announced the first leg of an extensive world tour.

The jaunt kicks off Sept. 11 in Quebec City and will see the Swedish band play over 75 cities in North America and Europe. The tour is in support of The Sounds' third album, Crossing The Rubicon, which dropped in June.

Openers will include Foxy Shazam in North America and Matt And Kim in Europe. Guest DJs will also be along. 

The Sounds opened for No Doubt during the latter band's three-month U.S. tour, and for Fall Out Boy during the European leg of their recent arena tour.
