Rufus Live CD/DVD Coming

Rufus Wainwright will release live CD and live DVD entitled Milwaukee At Last!!! Sept. 22 through Decca Records.

The set was recorded on Aug. 27, 2007 at Milwaukee's Pabst Theater when Wainwright was touring behind 2007's Release The Stars. Most of the tracks on the CD are from that album. The DVD features the same tracks as the CD, plus an additional 13 songs.

"For those select masses who weren't at the original show, this is your opportunity to finaly start actually living a decent life," Wainwright wrote about Milwaukee At Last!!! on his website on Friday. "Just to let you know, those who were present at the original taping have since been transformed into Egyptian gods and are worshipped in Vegas."

Wainwright's opera Prima Donna, which is about the life of an opera singer, premiered earlier this year in Manchester, England.
