Steven Tyler Has Broken Shoulder

Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler reportedly broke his shoulder when he fell off stage in Sturgis, S.D. on Wednesday.
Tyler, 61, fell backwards off stage during the show and landed on some
fans, injuring himself. He had been dancing around on stage in an
attempt to entertain the crowd after the sound system at the Sturgis
gig failed.
"[Tyler] hit his head and back," Billie Perry, guitarist Joe Perry's wife wrote on her Twitter on Thursday. "No concusion, stitches in head n back near shoulder. Broken shoulder. Yes he is very sore.We were all worried."
Tyler was to see his doctor on Thursday or Friday and there is no word when Aerosmith's tour will resume, Perry wrote.
The band has postponed their show with ZZ Top that was to take place Friday at Winnipeg's Canad Inss Stadium.
The status of Aerosmith's remaining Canadian gigs in Regina, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver over the next week is unknown, and a source told the Calgary Herald if the rest of the tour "happens, it will be a miracle."
But Bryan Taylor of Calgary's Keystone Entertainment Group, which is promoting the Canadian Aerosmith gigs, said the rest of the gigs are still on.
"Right now, I'm being told that they're still planning on playing the other four dates," Taylor told the Calgary Herald.
"But Steven's doctor's going to have a lot to say with this, too, I think. I've been told Steven's doctor is going to be offering opinions as we go here on what's best for Steven, too. And if somebody said to me, 'OK, the best thing for Steven is to take the next month off and we'll do all the dates in September,' I'd say, 'Yeah, whatever's best for the guy.'
"So there is that, but having said that, we're all hoping to play these dates starting Sunday."
