Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart" isn't at the point where it's being covered as much as Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," but it's getting there.
Broken Social Scene are the latest act to cover the single Joy Division released the month before singer Ian Curtis committed suicide in 1980. Their version of the track will be included on the soundtrack to the film adaptation of Audrey Niffenegger's novel,
The Time Traveler's Wife.

Broken Social Scene's Kevin Drew, Brendan Canning, Justin Peroff and Andrew Whiteman will play a wedding band in the film, which will be released Aug. 14.
You can see Broken Social Scene at the Palladium Showroom in Dallas, Texas on Friday and at the Free Press Summer Fest in Houston, Texas the next day.
