Bison B.C. Heading South

Bison B.C. have added a string of dates to their tour schedule.

They'll traverse the United States this fall in the van they've christened the Blue Bitch, sharing stages with Georgia sludge metal band Kylesa. Bison B.C. will be joined by Tombs, Landmine Marathon, Blackmathhorseman, Saviours, Ludicra and Red Fang on select dates.

Bison B.C. are touring in support of last year's Quiet Earth.

"So I get back from the baptized in beer tour, and I'm hangin' on the porch with my dog Milo, just shootin' the shit, and I break the news that I'm goin out on the road again in September...he looks up at me with the sad, disappointed look he has mastered for when I tell him things he doesn't want to hear," says singer/guitarist James Farwell.

"I scratch him behind his ear and say, 'but we get to go out with Kylesa, and Tombs and Red Fang will be there to party, and Saviours...' I see his tail start wagging and he says, 'Fucking awesome dude... drink a beer for me, cause sometimes this water just doesn't cut it."

The Vancouver quartet will also appear at the Planet Caravan Festival in Asheville, N.C. Tickets are available now and will run you $79.50 U.S. (about $84 Canadian). You can buy them here.
