Leonard Cohen, VanGaalen On Passenger Side Soundtrack

Music always makes long drives more bearable — even an impromptu trip to god-knows-where with your drug-addicted brother can be turned around with the help of a great mixtape or an iPod on shuffle.

The latest Matthew and Joel Bissonnette film, Passenger Side, is a film about just that. It features a killer lineup of artists such as Chad VanGaalen, Leonard Cohen, Dinosaur Jr. and the Silver Jews, among others.

The Passenger Side soundtrack is not yet available for purchase. Passenger Side premiered at 2009 Los Angeles Film Festival in June, and has been invited to screen at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival in the Contemporary World Cinema category.
