Steven Tyler Falls Off Stage

Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler fell off stage at a show in Sturgis, S.D. on Wednesday night and was taken to hospital, but is reportedly well enough to play with his band at upcoming Canadian shows.
Tyler, 61, fell backwards off stage onto a few fans while dancing around on stage. He'd been trying to keep fans entertained after the sound system failed during "Love In An Elevator," according to the Boston Herald.
"He did a turn and then he stepped back a couple steps and fell backward off the stage," Jessica Kokesh, an intern at the Rapid City Journal in Rapid City, S.D., told the Calgary Herald. "A lot of people at first were like, 'Oh my God, he fell.'"
Tyler was taken to hospital and it was reported he'd sustained minor head and neck injuries and a shoulder injury, which originally placed the status of the band's upcoming gigs in doubt.
But Bryan Taylor, president of Calgary's Keystone Entertainment Group, which is promoting Aerosmith's Canadian dates, told the Calgary Herald Tyler is fine and the shows will go ahead as scheduled.
