If you've spent hours trying to learn to play Van Halen's "Eruption" on the guitar in vain, maybe you'll have better luck playing the track on the Guitar Hero: Van Halen video game, which comes out Dec. 22.
That release date makes it a good last minute Christmas or Kwanzaa gift or a late Chanukkah present.
It looks like "Van Halen, not Van Hagar" is the motto here, as all 28 songs on Guitar Hero: Van Halen feature vocals from David Lee Roth. Sammy Hagar tracks are nowhere to be found. Ex bassist Michael Anthony is also nowhere to be found in the game and has been replaced with Wolfgang Van Halen, guitarist Eddie Van Halen's son.
Guitar Hero: Van Halen will also feature 19 other songs from Blink-182, Foo Fighters, Queen, Queens Of The Stone Age, The Clash, Weezer and others.
