Method Man's Alleged Pellet Gun Attack

Method Man is being sued by a Houston, Texas woman who says he shot her with a pellet gun after she tried to get his autograph.

Mary Anderson's lawsuit against the rapper born Clifford Smith was filed last month in Harris County District Court.

The lawsuit claims Method Man was signing autographs out the back window of his bus after a Nov. 19 show in Houston, but when Anderson tried to get his autograph, the lawsuit says the rapper shot her at least six times in the stomach and chest with a pellet gun.

Anderson's lawsuit claims she did receive an autograph, but says she's unsure whether it's Method Man's John Hancock or Redman's signature, since the latter rapper was also playing the show.

Anderson is seeking an unspecified amount of compensation for physical pain and suffering, mental anguish, physical impairment and disfigurement, the Houston Chronicle reports.

Method Man hasn't yet responded to the lawsuit.

Method Man released Blackout! 2 with Redman earlier this year. He'll release his next solo album, Crystal Method, sometime next year. RZA, Erick Sermon and DJ Scratch are among those producing its tracks.
