Choosing between two shows is a decision no one should ever have to make. That's why Atlanta metal masters Mastodon have partnered with animated band Dethklok for a 34-date North American tour slated for this October.
If you're wondering how the members of Dethklok — stars of the Adult Swim show Metalocalypse — will escape from TV land to play on a real live stage, wonder no more. The human performers of Dethklok, headed up by show creator and man-behind-the-music Brendon Small, will appear dark-lit under a projection screen featuring new animation and music videos of the cartoon band.
Mastodon released their fourth studio album, Crack The Skye, in March. Dethklok will release their second record, The Dethalbum II, Sept. 8.
Converge and High On Fire will open on all the dates of the "Adult Swim Presents" tour. Tickets are available here.
