Former Headstones frontman Hugh Dillon will release his debut solo album, Works Well With Others, this fall through Warner Music Canada.
No track listing or release date has been announced yet for the album, which marks Dillon's first release since 2005's The High Co$t Of Low Living, which he released with The Hugh Dillon Redemption Choir, his post-Headstones band. He's spent the last few years making a name for himself in acting.
Dillon stars in the Flashpoint TV drama and has appeared in films like The Trailer Park Boys: The Movie and Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning. He made his acting debut in Bruce McDonald's Dance Me Outside and is probably best known for his role in 1996's Hard Core Logo.
Dillon fronted the Headstones from their formation in 1987 until they disbanded in 2003. He struggled with substance abuse issues while in the band, but is now clean. Dillon has also produced an album for The Rubbers and has written compositions and scores for television shows.
