Fooled ya! Turns out Hedley's Famous Last Words weren't their last.
The B.C. quartet have spent the past six months in the studio, recording with four different producers to produce a 12-song album. No release date has been set for the as-yet-untitled record, but according to a recent MySpace blog entry, the band's third full-length will be out this November.
"Hanging out in beautiful California, we have been putting the finishing touch's on album #3 with John Feldmann [Escape The Fate, The Veronicas, The Used]," guitarist Dave Rosin wrote.
"Everyone in the band is super excited for all of our fans to hear some new heat, we're also stoked to get this show on the road and turn the volume to somewhere past 11.
"Its is during times like [sic] we must all remember one thing. Good things come to those who wait, because once Hedley is "Dans la Maison".....there isn't going to be any getting rid of us for awhile [sic]."
Hedley's Famous Last Words, released in 2007, went platinum in Canada. Their 2005 self-titled album went double-platinum.
Hedley were nominated for fan choice, album of the year and songwriter of the year at this year's Juno Awards. Rosin, vocalist Jacob Hoggard, bassist Tommy Mac and drummer Chris Crippin will play Drenchedfest on Aug. 8 at Calgary's Predator Bay Water Ski Club. The band plan to tour next spring.
