Steven Adler's Insane Fan

Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash and ex-drummer Steven Adler have both been granted restraining orders against the same woman on Monday.

TMZ reports the orders state Lisa Jill Martin-Cahn must stay at least 500 yards (about 457 metres) away from both men and their families.

Adler says Martin-Cahn hired at least three private investigators to find him because they were allegedly "long lost lovers who met in rehab in the early '90s," according to TMZ.

It gets creepier. TMZ reports Adler's documents apparently state cops found "unopened boxes of house ware items which Cahn stated [were] wedding presents for [her and Adler's] upcoming marriage."

Slash (real name Saul Hudson) claims Cahn contacted him and his family when she was trying to get in contact with Adler, which is the reason he was also granted a restraining order.

Slash and Adler have been in the studio with Red Hot Chili peppers bassist Flea, where they're working on Slash's new solo album. Pictures of the sessions can be viewed on Adler's MySpace page.

"Steven Adler played on the first of the last three tracks yesterday, along with Flea on bass," Slash wrote in a July 15 MySpace blog entry. "The song kicks ass and the drums and bass sound so recognizable and sound so fucking good. Steven is staying clean, which is great; Flea is just amazing, period."

Former GN'R guitarist Izzy Stradlin apparently plays guitar on one track.

"It was good to see him; it's been awhile," Slash wrote. "Our guitars together really do have a sound all their own."

Slash hopes to released the as-yet-untitled album at some point this year. He's been working with former Jane's Addiction bassist Chris Chaney and drummer Josh Freese.

Other rumoured guests include Ozzy Osbourne Chris Cornell, Iggy Pop, Fergie and M. Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold.
