Pixies Full U.S. Dates

Europe can't have all the love.
Following their announcement of a European Doolittle tour, the Pixies have now added a set of American dates that will take the alt.rock band from the southwest to northeast coasts of the United States.
The tour will see the Boston band perform all 15 tracks from 1989's Doolittle, as well as related B-sides like "Weird At My School," "Dancing The Manta Ray" and "Bailey's Walk." Doolittle is the Pixies' third album and was their first to appear on the Billboard album charts.
"We wanted to do something special for Doolittle's 20th anniversary," frontman Black Francis told Spin.com, "and we thought this was a good opportunity to play all of the songs from that album, something we don't normally do at a regular gig."
The tour coincides with the Pixies' upcoming collector's set, Minotaur, to be released in early October.
The Pixies are currently brainstorming Doolittle-related surprises for each date. If you plan to purchase tickets for one (or more) of the upcoming U.S. Pixies dates, snatch 'em up while you can — most European dates are already sold out.
