Elliott Brood Member Hospitalized

Elliott Brood have cancelled their appearance at Happy Valley, Ore.'s Pickathon for Aug. 1 and 2 because Casey Laforet (guitars, vocals, bass pedals, keyboards, ukelele) fell ill.

Laforet was in Toronto's St. Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto over the weekend with undisclosed health issues, according to the band's website, but has since been released. The rest of Elliott Brood's remaining upcoming dates in support of last year's Polaris Music Prize short listed Mountain Meadows will go ahead as scheduled.
