Blur Are Probably Done

Talk about a total bummer.
Blur bassist Alex James has told BBC News the band have no plans to play any more reunion shows, nor will they record a new album.
Blur released seven albums from 1991 to their dissolution in 2003. They announced they would reunite last year and played a series of European shows recently and headlined a night at this year's Glastonbury Festival last month.
James says while the shows were great fun, nothing else is lined up. Rumours recently surfaced that Blur would play North American shows as well.
"[The shows were] what we said we'd do and we did it and it was great," he said. "It hasn't been mentioned, the idea of doing anything else, but hey, it was great."
James said the fan reaction at the gigs was "too much" for the band.
"I've spent the last week staring at a bonfire muttering to myself," he said. "I haven't been able to contain the joy that it brought to all of us. It was very, very emotional. Everything we hoped it would be and more."
Instead of gigging and recording with Blur, James is now set to make cheese for Prince Charles. Yeah.
