Jeff Healey Is Live

Songs From The Road, a previously unreleased album from late Canadian blues legend Jeff Healey, will be released July 28 through Stony Plain Records.
The live CD was recorded at Norway's Nottoden Blues Festival, a concert in London, England and at the now defunct Jeff Healey's Roadhouse in Toronto.
Songs From The Road is the follow-up to last year's Mess Of Blues, which dropped only weeks after the musician's early death. Healey died of cancer March 2, 2008 at age 41.
The upcoming release showcases the Toronto guitarist's impressive range of styles, including Chicago blues and elements of psychedelia. The CD features covers such as Crosby, Stills & Nash's "Teach Your Children" and The Beatles' "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," as well as Healey's hit "Angel Eyes." Fellow Canadian guitar great Randy Bachman also appears on the album.
Songs From The Road has received enthusiastic support from Healey's family. Cristie Healey, Healey's wife, contributed a sleeve note to the album.
Here's what's on Songs From The Road:
"I Think I Love You Too Much"
"I'm Ready"
"Stop Breaking Down"
"Angel Eyes"
"Come Together"
"Hoochie Coochie Man" (featuring Randy Bachman)
"White Room"
"While My Guitar Gently Weeps"
"Whipping Post"
"Teach Your Children"
"Santa, Bring My Baby Back (To Me)"
