Rihanna Gets All-American

And we thought Rihanna and Chris Brown made an odd couple.

RiRi will pair with All-American Rejects vocalist Tyson Ritter for her upcoming fourth studio album, rumoured to be called Rated R. The album may hit stores this fall.

Additional contributors reportedly include The-Dream, Stargate, James Fauntleroy and Christopher "Tricky" Stewart. Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Soulja Boy, Shontelle and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder could also appear on the record. The Barbadian singer plans to mix rock sounds with her usual pop/R&B vibe, as previously announced by French fansite Rihanna-Diva.

Rihanna (real name Robyn Rihanna Fenty) took home the award for best female act at the 2009 Urban Music Awards on Friday. Her video for "Rehab" was also named best music video.

The All-American Rejects will support Blink-182 on the second half of their reunion tour this summer. The Oklahoma quartet will play on the following dates:
