Canada is home to one less starving artist.
Silverstein lead vocalist Shane Told took home a jackpot at Caesar's Palace on Thursday, walking away with a grand total of $8,000 U.S. (about $8,900 Canadian). Or at least so he claimed on his Twitter.
"Just won $8000 on a video poker machine at Caesar's Palace," the singer wrote on his Twitter on Thursday.
Any doubters can check out the photo Told posted in his next update.
It seems Told has found a stereotypically American use for the cash.
"money is gone... 10% to the church, and the rest to the NRA [National Rifle Association]," he wrote on Friday morning.
He's kidding, right? Giving to charity is great, but let's hope the frontman decides on a less deadly cause than the infamous gunslinger's club to invest in — maybe a line of vegan Bibles?
Silverstein have announced a Canadian tour slated for September in support of the recently released A Shipwreck In The Sand. They'll have A Day To Remember and Ten Second Epic with them on all the dates.
