Judas Priest's Insane Fan

We've all gone through phases where we listen to an album over and over, but Cleveland Judas Priest superfan Jim Bartek took this to the extreme with Judas Priest's Nostradamus.
Bartek began listening to the album on June 17, 2008, the day it was released, and put it on his stereo at least once a day for a ridiculous and insane 391 days. Cleveland's Plain Dealer reports he logged about 1,000 hours listening to the hour-and-45-minute double album about the 16th century seer.
To me, this just seems like masochism. British Steel is clearly the better choice!
Peters works in a parts room at a truck stop and first mentioned his ambitious "project" of sorts to Cleveland DJ Bill Peters. Bartek told the Plain Dealer that his dog, Clarence, curls up on the couch to listen to the album with him whenever it's on.
"That's what's so great about Nostradamus; you can listen over and over and always hear something new," Bartek said.
He nearly broke the streak one night after a fishing trip with his friends and rushed home after 10 p.m. to listen to the record, according to the website. To avoid anything like this happening again, he bought an MP3 player and takes it everywhere with him.
Judas Priest's management apparently contacted Bartek about meeting him after the band's show in Cleveland on Tuesday night and Bartek received a third-row ticket to the show from an anonymous donor.
