Creed have confirmed their new studio album will be called Full Circle and will come out sometime this fall.
The band made the announcement on their website on Friday, but no release date or track listing has been announced yet.
The Tallahassee, Fla. band, who broke up in 2004, announced they were reuniting earlier this year. The new album will be the band's first studio release since 2001's Weathered.
Creed will kick off a U.S. reunion tour Aug. 6 in Burgettstown, Pa. which will wind up Oct. 14 in Nashville. Staind will be the support act for the second half of the trek. No Canadian dates have been announced.
Alter Bridge, the group featuring three members of Creed and singer Myles Kennedy, are still working on new material for a studio album.
Kennedy is also working on a solo project which he says "has been coming along great." He says he's already written about 35 songs for the record, which he says will be "pretty diverse."
"I just wanted to see if I could do it," he said in a recent YouTube clip on the Fret12.com site.
Kennedy says he doesn't want the solo album's timing to coincide with the new Alter Bridge record.
