Vancouver singer/songwriter Dan Mangan spent three-and-a-half years (!) touring behind his debut studio album, Postcards And Daydreaming. He's finally ready to release his second album, Nice, Nice, Very Nice, which comes out Aug. 11 in Canada.

Mangan provided some temporary relief for those anticipating his sophomore record with his Roboteering EP, a teaser for the full-length album, in March.

Nice, Nice, Very Nice was recorded in Toronto last year with producer John Critchley (Elliot Brood, Holy Fuck, Hidden Cameras). The album features guest contributions from members of Elliott Brood, Said The Whale, Mother Mother, Major Maker and Small Sins, as well as solo artists Justin Rutledge, Mark Berube and Veda Hille. Nice, Nice, Very Nice's title is a reference to a poem in Kurt Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle.

Mangan will play the following dates:

July 17-19 Vancouver, BC @ Jericho Beach Park (Vancouver Folk Music Festival)
July 28 Penticton, BC @ Fibonacci
July 29 Nelson, BC @ Lakeside Park ("Keep The Beat" Fundraiser)
July 31 Wells, BC @ Artswells Festival

Here are the songs on Nice, Nice, Very Nice:

"Road Regrets"
"Robots"
"The Indie Queens Are Waiting"
"Sold"
"Fair Verona"
"Tina's Glorious Comeback"
