Default will release their first album in four years on Sept. 29 through EMI.
Dallas Smith, Jeremy Hora, Dave Benedict and Danny Craig originally wanted to release the album in the late summer or early fall of 2007, but it was pushed back.
Things were delayed further when the band's label, TVT, went belly-up in February 2008. It was eventually sold in a private auction to independent distributor The Orchard. No track listing for the album, which was previously called Still Standing but will not have that title when it is released, has been announced yet, but the record will be preceded by first single "All Over Me."
Default formed in 1999 and released their The Fallout debut full-length two years later. Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger heard their demo tape and took them under his wing, producing some songs on the album. The Fallout went platinum in the United States on the success of tracks like "Deny" and "Wasting My Time."
Sophomore album Elocation followed in 2003 and the band's most recent disc is 2005's One Thing Remains.
You can see Default here:

Aug. 2 Tumbler Ridge, AB @ Grizfest
