Ozzy's Dog Eaten By Coyote

Ozzy Osbourne's pet dog, a Pomeranian named Little Bit, was eaten by a coyote while the former Black Sabbath singer was watching the Michael Jackson memorial on television this Tuesday.

Ozzy's daughter, Kelly Osbourne, announced the pet's death on her Twitter on Wednesday.

"my dad's dog little bit was eaten by a coyete last night in l.a and he is devastated she was his other women!" she wrote..

The Osbournes adopted Little Bit, who was a rescue dog, when she was a puppy. The dog was saved from a puppy ranch.

"Sharon and Ozzy love their dogs to bits," a source told the U.K.'s The Sun tabloid.

"It's like losing a family member. They are both devastated."

Perhaps Ozzy can take consolation in the 18 other dogs at his Los Angeles home. Britain's Daily Telegraph reports Ozzy's wife, Sharon Osbourne frequents a stray dog home to adopt homeless dogs.

Osbourne infamously bit the head off a live bat on stage in 1982 and was previously ejected from a record company office after he bit the head off a live dove and spat it on the ground. He also once admitted to shooting "all" his family's cats when he was heavily addicted to drugs.
