Ryan Gosling's Band Signs To Anti-

Dead Man's Bones — a.k.a. actor Ryan Gosling (Half Nelson, Lars And The Real Girl) and drummer Zach Shields — have signed to Anti- Records, and are scheduled to release their ghoulish self-titled album Oct. 6.
The Los Angeles-based actors-turned-musicians gave fans a preview of their upcoming record this past December, when they made "In The Room Where You Sleep" available as a free MP3.
The upcoming album was produced by I'm A Robot's Tim Anderson. The record was originally written as a soundtrack to a play based on ghosts and other supernatural beings, but that idea was axed when the costs of a stage production became too high.
But rather than give up on the project, Gosling and Shields decided to record the music they had written, and played all the instruments themselves.
The album features vocals from the Silverlake Conservatory Of Music Children's Choir.
