Nine Inch Nails Headlining VFest Ontario

Looks like Trent Reznor was wrong: Bonnaroo wasn't Nine Inch Nails' final North American gig.
Less than three months after putting on a stellar show at Toronto's Molson Amphitheatre, Nine Inch Nails will headline one of the two nights at Virgin Festival Ontario in Orillia, Ont.
It's still unclear which night they'll play, but the band confirmed it Tuesday Morning on their website when they announced a string of North American dates after their southeast Asian stops.
"Getting right to the point, we're going to play a handful of shows in NYC, Chicago and LA starting August 22nd," Reznor wrote. "They will be informal affairs in medium to small venues with longer set-lists, possible special guests, cool openers and other surprises. Upon reflection, the NIN/JA tour felt like we had to rush through sets due to a limited allotted set length and many shows were in daylight — it just didn’t feel right to end NIN that way.
"An offer to headline V-Fest in Toronto (being announced soon) set the idea in motion to play some FUN shows to end this up with. If we can get it together we'll film these shows too."
Reznor said Webster Hall, the Bowery Ballroom and Terminal 5 will be the sites for the New York dates with Chicago's Aragon Ballroom being another venue. The Los Angeles locales will be The Wiltern, the Henry Fonda Theater, the Hollywood Palladium and the Echoplex.
The Horrors and Mew are the support acts for the New York dates. Mew will also open in Chicago and Los Angeles.
No dates or ticket information has been announced for Virgin Festival Ontario or any of Nine Inch Nails' other new North American dates yet.
