Splitsville At The Disco

First, Panic At The Disco dropped the exclamation point from their name — now the emo rockers have pared their lineup to only two members.
Despite plans to release a third album and a scheduled stint opening for Blink-182 on their summer reunion tour, guitarist Ryan Ross and bassist Jon Walker have parted ways with the band to pursue their own project together.
Ross and Walker announced their departure in a statement on the band's official website.
"Though the four of us have made music together in the past, we've creatively evolved in different directions which has compromised what each of us want to personally achieve," they wrote. "Over the years, we have remained close and honest with each other, which helped us to realize that our goals were different and that parting ways is truly what is best for each of us. We are all excited for the future, you should be too."
Ross, lead vocalist Brendon Urie and drummer Spencer Smith have been friends since adolescence, and founded Panic At The Disco with original bassist Brent Wilson. Walker joined in 2006 following Wilson's departure.
Urie and Smith will continue as Panic At The Disco, and plan to perform on the band's previously announced tour dates in support of Blink-182.
