XM Verge Music Awards Announced

Voting has opened for the second annual XM Verge Music Awards.
The awards will be held on Sept. 22 at Toronto's Mod Club. The show will be broadcast live across Canada on XM Satellite Radio.
You can now vote for your favourite artist of the year and favourite album of the year at the XM Verge Music Awards website. The top nominations will be announced after voting ends on Aug. 31.
The winners of the album of the year and artist of the year categories will both be presented with $25,000.
Last year's inaugural XM Verge Music Awards were held at Toronto's Tattoo Rock Parlour. Hey Rosetta!'s Into Your Lungs (And Around In Your Heart And On Through Your Blood) took home the album of the year award, while The Weakerthans were declared the year's best artist.
