Behemoth Barred From Canada By The Man

Polish black metal band Behemoth have been forced to cancel their Edmonton and Calgary appearances on the Summer Slaughter tour with Necrophagist and Suffocation because immigration officers denied them entry into the country.

According to a press release, the band were told the regulations regarding Polish citizens entering the country had changed, and could not complete the necessary forms to enter Canada due to offices being closed on Canada Day and Independence Day south of the border.

"We couldn't be more devastated, having to cancel these shows is one of the worst things we have had to do as a band," Behemoth said in a statement. "Canada has always treated Behemoth well and we were still fired up from our show in Montreal and Toronto. We can't wait to get back to these cities as soon as possible, see you all in Spokane when we meet back up with the tour."
