Pearl Jam Headline VFest Alberta

Pearl Jam and Billy Talent will headline Virgin Festival Alberta at Calgary's Canada Olympic Park on Aug. 8 and 9.

K-OS, Thunderheist, Metric, Tokyo Police Club, Arkells, Mother Mother, The Cliks, White Lies and Shout Out Out Out Out will also play the two day event. White Lies revealed they were playing the festival earlier this month. More acts will be announced shortly.

Tickets go on sale on Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster or Future Shop outlets. Weekend passes will run you $132, while VIP weekened passes will cost you $300. Information about day passes will be available soon. More information is available on the Virgin Festival Alberta website.

This is the second year the Virgin Festival has been held in Calgary. The city's inaugural Virgin Festival was held last year and featured performances from The Tragically Hip, Stone Temple Pilots, Matthew Good, The Flaming Lips, Three Days Grace, City And Colour, Stars and The New Pornographers.
