Fucked Up Blame Springsteen For Crap Bands

Fucked Up vocalist Damian "Pink Eyes" Abraham would like to make sure Bruce Springsteen has to take a Shout stick to his clothes.

Pink Eyes told NME.com he'd like to push Springsteen in mud at this past weekend's Glastonbury Festival.

"I guess it would be Bruce Springsteen, not because I have a problem with Bruce Springsteen — I think his records are great — but I think he's responsible for so much terrible bands in this way of trying to be Bruce Springsteen," Pink Eyes said. "So I'd have to push him in the mud, just for what he's caused. It's not the band I hate, it's his fans... in the words of Sloan."

Speaking of mud, Pink Eyes saw a different kind of mud when he videotaped a man defecating on himself at the festival — no joke.

"This morning when we first got out, the strangest thing we saw was at 11 o'clock this morning, a man, totally wasted, come out of the bathroom stall and shit his pants — a half naked man," he said. "And then pull up his pants, his legs covered in shit, and then try and force his way into another occupied stall and have a washroom attendant throw him out.

"Bear in mind, this was not just in a private washroom — it was like, open air, with a crowd of people watching this guy. I videotaped it. It was hilarious. It was insane. That was the strangest thing I've seen so far today."

I think it's safe to say that's pretty fucked up.
