Blur's July 2 and 3 gigs at London, England's Hyde Park will be recorded for a live album that will be released later this year.
Blur Live In Hyde Park will be available digitally and as a double CD. The downloads will be available within a week of each show and the CDs will ship about a week after that. Both Hyde Park shows will be available on separate CDs, or you can order both discs on four CDs. You can pre-order the package at Blur's website, and choose which option best suits your needs. All CD copies will come with free MP3s of the show(s), along with photos taken at the gig(s).
Blur were the closing headliners for this year's Glastonbury Festival. Singer Damon Albarn apparently broke into tears during the middle of "To The End" and "had to sit down on the drum riser with his head in his hands to collect himself," according to Britain's Daily Mail tabloid. He was reportedly still crying during "This Is A Low."
CHARTattack will have a review of Glastonbury later today.
In the meantime, you can see Blur here:
July 2-3 London, England @ Hyde Park
July 5 Lyon, France @ TBA
July 10 Eadestown, Ireland @ Punchestown Racecourse (Oxegen Festival)
July 12 Balado, Scotland @ Balado Airfield (T In The Park)
