Tokyo Police Club have played shows around the world, but the Newmarket, Ont. foursome are now looking to give back to their home community.
The Canadian indie favouriteswill play two hometown shows with fellow Newmarket/Aurora, Ont. bands Ruby Coast and The Elwins on Aug. 14 and 15 at the White Rabbit in Newmarket.
Proceeds from the shows will go to Doane House Hospice, a local charity that supports those caring for people living with life-threatening illnesses.
The first show is all-ages, while the second is a 19+ event. Tickets for the all ages show are available here. If you're in or around Newmarket, you can also get tickets at Sunrise in the Upper Canada Mall. Both shows are $17, plus additional fees.
Ruby Coast are also scheduled to appear at this year's S.C.E.N.E. Fest in St. Catharines on June 28.
You can see singer/bassist Dave Monks, guitarist Josh Hook, keyboardist Graham Wright and drummer Greg Alsop when they at these Tokyo Police Club dates this summer:
