Motorhead Set North American Tour For September

Heavy metal legends Motorhead will launch a North American tour in late August with The Reverend Horton Heat and Nashville Pussy as the support acts.

The tour kicks off at the end of Augst, and includes two Canadian dates in Toronto on Sept. 2 and in Montreal the following day. No ticket information is available yet, and more Canadian and U.S. dates will be announced soon, according to the band's official website.

Motorhead are touring behind last year's Motorizer and have a string of summer festival dates in Europe prior to the North American trek. The group will return to Britain following the North American tour before they finish the year with a German jaunt.

Nashville Pussy released their new studio effort, From Hell To Texas, earlier this year. The Reverend Horton Heat's most recent album is 2005's We Three Kings.
