Courtney Love has officially made herself over because Hole are back.

No, we aren't kidding. It turns out Courtney Love's long-awaited sophomore solo album, Nobody's Daughter, will not be a solo record after all and will be released under the Hole moniker, according to NME magazine.

Love has gone through three producers, four studios and countless bassists in making the record, which has been in the works since she left rehab in 2005. Since then, she's has also had to deal with that pesky Ryan Adams, American Express, fashion designers and people allegedly embezzling $200 million from the estate of her late husband, Kurt Cobain. Nobody's Daughter was due to be released on Love's website on Jan. 1, but that day came and went.

Most of the songs Love wrote with producer Linda Perry — and some more she wrote with Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan — will be included on the album, which NME says is "as good as done." Nobody's Daughter also features Larrikin Love guitarist Micko Larkin and back-up vocals from old Hole bassist Melissa Auf Der Maur. NME reports there's a chance Auf Der Maur may join Love under the Hole moniker for a tour next year, as well.

Nobody's Daughter still doesn't have a release date, but it most likely will come out either at the end of this year or the beginning of 2010 on a yet-to-be-determined label. Michael Beinhorn (The Bronx, Ozzy Osbourne) will be listed as the producer when it comes out... unless Love changes her mind again.
