Weezer Better For Plants Than Eminem

Weezer are gearing up for another North American tour supporting Blink-182 this summer. More importantly though, their songs apparently help promote healthy plant growth. Especially compared to Enimem's "music."
Two students in Madison, Conn. did an experiment recently on plants, according to the band's official website.
"We decided to have the plants listen to music, we had one listen to Eminem, and the other listen to Weezer," Blake Brucher and Kipp Milone said in an email to the band. "We also had a control [plant]. The weezer plant listened to many of your songs such as Beverly Hills, Island in the sun, and say it ain't so.
"After about a week of 10 minutes of music a day and watering every other day, the results were quite astounding. The weezer plant grew 5 out of 5 seeds into plants each with two leaves, the Eminem plant hardly even sprouted and the control only sprouted 2 out of 5 seeds. This was fascinating to us and we felt obliged to send this information to you."
The plants were unavailable for comment.
In related Weezer news, the band are creating a new online radio station dubbed Weezer Radio as part of the new a.p.e. (Artist Personal Experience) radio network starting in July. The Eagles and Christina Aguilera will have similar stations.
The group are also working on new songs with producer Jacknife Lee for a seventh studio album. No title or release date has been announced, but the band says the first single from the record should be out this summer.
In moderately related news, newly minted lawn care enthusiast Matthew Good is planning to put a set of speakers on his front lawn and to play Pinkerton on endless rotation all weekend to help promote grass growth.
