Bonnaroo-Bound Laced Peanut Butter Cups Found

People are always developing new and ridiculous ways to consume drugs, and this is one of the craziest I've heard in a while.
Police in Murfreesboro, Tenn. intercepted nearly 36 pounds of Psilocybin (magic) mushrooms that were baked into about 500 peanut butter cups to be sold at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival that's currently being held in Manchester, Tenn.
It's not known where the mushrooms came from and their origin is not being revealed, but detectives stopped the drugs from being distributed at the festival when they raided a home on Wednesday, according to the The Murfreesboro Post newspaper.
Police told the newspaper the suspects said they had intended to sell the peanut butter cups for $20 U.S. each .
"The effects [of magic mushrooms] are hallucinogenic in nature, similar to LSD," Murfreesboro Police spokesperson Kyle Evans told The Murfreesboro Post. "[Magic mushrooms] are very dangerous and there have been incidents of people dying the first time they used this drug.
"There's no telling how many lives these detectives have saved by keeping these drugs off the street and they should be commended for an outstanding investigation leading to these arrests."
Charles Culver, his brother Dane Culver, and Charles Culver's roommates, James Segars and Edgar Chamu, have been charged with possession of Schedule I mushrooms for resale, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charles Culver, Segars and Chamu have also been charged with using their home to selling drugs.
The suspects were released within two hours of having been booked and are awaiting a hearing that will be held at a later date.
