If you haven't figured it out already, Tool vocalist Maynard James Keenan's really, really into wine.

So into it, in fact, that he's letting directors Ryan Page and Christopher Pomerenke (Moog, The Heart Is A Drum Machine) make a documentary called Blood Into Wine: The Arizona Stronghold about the wine business he founded with his business partner, Eric Glomski.

Cary Truelick is shooting the film on location at the vineyard in Arizona's Verde Valley. Blood Into Wine will wrap in September and the documentary will receive limited theatrical release in February and March 2010.

You can see and download the trailer for Blood Into Wine here.

Keenan moved to Arizona in the '90s and owns three vineyards — Merkin Vineyards, Caduceus Cellars and Stronghold Vineyards — which are all located in the state. Keenan produced the first wine from his own grapes earlier this year and named it after his late mother.

Keenan also owns a produce market in Arizona and will soon open an organic market in the state which will include a wine tasting room and a food court.

Keenan will appear at select Whole Foods in Orlando tomorrow (Friday) for a wine signing from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and will be on hand for another signing at the Whole Foods in Jacksonville, Fla. on Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m.
