Doperty Joins Mile High Club

Pete Doherty's back at it.
The Babyshambles frontman was allegedly found collapsed in the washroom of his Geneva-bound flight on Friday with a used hypodermic needle nearby. He was arrested by Swiss police upon arrival in Geneva and tested positive for heroin use, but was released after paying a fine.
Swiss newspaper Le Matin reported today (Monday) that a British Airways crew contacted police after they discovered Doperty slumped over in the washroom. The airline said it was unable to confirm any details about the incident, but a British Airways spokeswoman confirmed "Swiss police met one of our flights and a man was detained."
He may not be sober, but a bit of heroin can't stop the musical force that is Doperty. Once he was free to go, the singer played a concert in Neuchatel, Switzerland.
Doperty has a long history of drug use and addiction. He breached his probation last year after he was caught with crack cocaine, heroin, cannabis and ketamine. He was sentenced to 14 weeks in Wormwood Scrubs Prison, but only served 29 days of his term.
