Vancouver's 3 Inches Of Blood have released details about their upcoming album, to be released through Century Media Records.
3IOB began recording in April at London Bridge Studio and Soundhouse, both in Seattle, with famed producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Mudhoney, Bruce Dickinson). Endino will produce, mix and engineer the album.
The band "spent countless hours writing songs for [their] new album,"
which is "near completion, according to a June 2 Myspace blog entry.
The album doesn't have an official release date yet, but 3 Inches Of Blood hope to put it out this fall.
The heavy metal band announced that they had signed a worldwide record deal with Century Media last month, saying "We can't wait to unleash this new material upon the masses."
3IOB were previously signed to Roadrunner Records.
