Black Crowes Utopia Tour

The Blakc Crowes already announced a show for Fredericton, N.B. on June 20 as part of the FredRock festival, and have now announced dates for the first leg of their North American Stuck Inside Utopia Tour which starts in August and runs through the rest of the year.

The group will play material from their as-yet-untitled forthcoming album and their back catalogue, according to their website.

The tour hits Canada in September with dates in Rama, Ont. on Sept. 12 and in London, Ont. the following day. Truth & Salvage Co. will be the support act on most dates. Tickets for the London show go on sale June 12 while tickets for the Rama concert go on sale June 14.

Aside from brothers Chris and Rich Robinson, the lineup will feature drummer Steve Gorman, bassist Sven Pipien, keyboardist Adam MacDougall and guitarist Luther Dicksinson.

The band released its last studio album Warpaint in 2008. It was their the first studio album in nearly seven years.
