Maximo Park Frontman Has Reinforced Crotch

Maximo Park singer Paul Smith jumps and scissor kicks so much on stage that he needs a special tailor to ensure the crotch of his pants don't rip mid-performance.
The pants of Smith's suit, which he wears on stage, were fraying between the legs, so he got a tailor to reinforce the crotch to ensure he doesn't accidentally drop some sausage in a wardrobe malfunction.
"I'm working with a guy called Jonathan Quearney," Smith told NME.com about the tailor. "He used to work on Savile Row and he's got his own place now on Windmill Street in [London, England's] Fitzrovia."
Quearney did what good merchants should never do and revealed his secret to NME.com when he explained how he ensures Smith's pants never rip.
"The layers inside the suit have large loose stitches so Paul can jump around like a lunatic and not rip the clothes apart."
We imagine Smith's female fans are all upset at this news.
Maximo Park are touring in support of the recently released Quicken The Heart, and you can see Smith in his reinforced pants, guitarist Duncan Lloyd, bassist Archis Tiku, keyboardist Lukas Wooller and drummer Tom English here:
