Kanye West has dubbed himself the Michael Jordan of rapping.
West was his usual modest self when he spoke to MTV News about new songs he's been recording, which he says have "awes-mazing" lyrics and are "basically untouchable." He said he doesn't write his lyrics down... which obviously means he's too talented for life.
"I kill that rap shit, that's what I do," he said.
"As far as rapping goes, how can I say this? [Michael] Jordan, Michael Jackson — it's what I do."
He apparently then compared his rapping to both Mikes respective work.
I totally have Kanye West and Michael Jordan on the same level inside my head. You know why? Because every Kanye song is a slam dunk!
West, whose book of "Kanyeisms," Thank You And You're Welcome, is now available at fine bookstores everywhere, has released the final version of the video for "Paranoid," which features Rihanna.
The clip premiered at a Def Jam event in Los Angeles on May 20 and an unfinished version leaked onto the internet last week. You can see the final version here.
The video for "Spaceship," from West's 2004 The College Dropout debut, has also finally been released. West directed the clip himself in 2005, but was unhappy with it so he told MTV News he never released it. You can watch it here.
West will play the Wireless Festival in London, England's Hyde Park on July 5.
