Fred Durst Disses Winnipeg Mosquitoes

Limp Bizkit will join a parade of other groups when their music is used in an upcoming version of Rock Band.
"It looks like [EA Sports are] going to make some Limp Bizkit music available for Rock Band, [it)] could be dope," Fred Durst said in a video clip on the band's website posted yesterday from a hotel room in St. Petersburg, Russia. "I can't wait to play jungle beats on there, but there's a delay that doesn't work for me."
Durst also announced the band, who are touring throughout Europe for most of the summer with their original lineup, will make their lone North American stop of 2009 in Las Vegas, appearing at the Ultimate Fighting Championship 100 from July 10 to 11.
The singer also said while no cities or dates are firm, the group will "do it the right way" by promoting and routing a North American tour themselves, and will rely on their fans to decide where they'll play. A new album is also in the works, which will reportedly (and appropriately) be titled Hatorade.
Durst also mentioned how bad the mosquitoes were in St. Petersburg.
"The mosquitoes are worse here than they are in Winnipeg, Canada," Durst said after plugging in some electrical mosquito zapper gadget. "I shot the [2006] movie Population 436 up there and it was like more mosquitoes than I had ever seen in my entire life."
