Chris Bosh Signs Record Deal

Chris Bosh has signed with Warner Music Canada to produce a CD and DVD, set for release this fall.
The Toronto Raptors power forward has also introduced his own application for iPhone and iPod Touch, which makes him the world's first athlete to do so.
"This is exciting," said Bosh.
"Teaming up with Warner to produce my very own CD and DVD, as well as being the first athlete with their very own iPhone and iPod touch application, are just two more ways for fans to get to know me off the court. Entertaining my fans through the use of technology allows me to continue to try and pioneer the digital space for athletes across the world!"
The Bosh-produced compilation CD will feature some of the basketball star's favourite artists and tracks from musical up-and-comers. Bosh has decided to open the door for unsigned artists to submit their work for consideration on the CD via a form on his website.
The DVD will centre on a number of comedic characters invented by Bosh and seen in the athlete's viral YouTube videos. It will also feature an insider's view of Bosh's life in his hometown of Dallas, and will show fans the superstar's roots and the beginnings of his trajectory to NBA fame.
Bosh has been making videos since high school and produced more than 80 of his own short videos over the past two years alone. Bosh's 2007 "Used Car Salesman" video, which called on fans to vote for him to play on the NBA Eastern All-Star-Team, became extremely popular — it was aired on broadcast TV, caught the attention of the Wall Street Journal newspaper, and eventually landed Bosh a guest appearance on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno as the show's reporter for the 2008 NBA Finals.
Bosh was voted "The Most Viral Athlete In The World" by ESPN The Magazine and uses his Twitter and Facebook accounts to connect with fans.

Chris Bosh celebrated his 25th birthday at Toronto's Circa Nightclub on March 22.
