Liam Calls Kaiser Chiefs "Shit Blur"

Liam Gallagher is all for Blur reuniting — but not because he's feeling particularly kindhearted.

It turns out Liam's hatred for another band runs even deeper than the longstanding Oasis vs. Blur feud.

"I'm right into the Blur reunion, [because] it'll finish off the Kaiser Chiefs and put them to bed," Gallagher told the U.K.'s The Sun tabloid.

"There's nothing worse than a shit Blur," he continued. "And at least the original shit Blur are back to finish off all these other shit Blurs."

The Kaiser Chiefs haven't been entirely innocent in this war of words, having called Liam's brother Noel Gallagher a "bitter old man."

The Oasis frontman went on to give his two cents regarding the recent trend of band reunions:

"All these band reunions recently, it just goes to show who's the real deal," he said. "Oasis have never split up. Now all these bands have come back, just as the recession is kicking in. They've all been found out."

It's probably worth noting Oasis singer/guitarist Noel Gallagher recently announced the band would probably not release another album for five years. That's not a break-up, but it is a hiatus.

Gallagher has put a clip of an unreleased Oasis track called "Man Of Misery" on the website for Pretty Green, his clothing line that will launch on Thursday. A four-minute video that will feature the entire song will be uploaded to the site on Thursday. And no, Gallagher's brother, Oasis singer/guitarist Noel Gallagher, will not be getting free clothes.

"Our kid will have to buy his own Pretty Green gear," he told the Manchester Evening News newspaper. "He's getting no freebies!"
