Courtney Love Responds To American Express Lawsuit

Courtney Love's lawyer says American Express' lawsuit against Kurt Cobain's widow are baseless.
American Express sued Love on Monday because it said Love owed $352,059.67 U.S. (about $392,000 Canadian) in unpaid balances, late charges, damages and lawyers fees.
Keith Fink, Love's lawyer, told TMZ that Love has been trying to "reason" with AmEx over the charges for a while, but it hasn't worked. Fink says 104 AmEx credit cards were taken out under Love's name and the name of her business, and claimed Love didn't make the charges attributed to her.
"AmEx knows the claim has no merit," Fink said. "We have told them this for a long time. AmEx's lax policies allowed fraudulent transactions to be charged to my client's card."
Who the hell takes out 104 credit cards? What planet are we on here?
Wait, Ryan Adams did it, didn't he?
Surprisingly, Love has been completely silent about the lawsuit on her MySpace blog. That rant about BlackBerrys is still there, though.
