One of Duran Duran's biggest hits was "Rio" from their 1982 sophomore album of the same name, and the British band have re-recorded the song for producer Mark Ronson (Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen).

Ronson, who's producing material for Duran Duran's follow-up to 2007's Red Carpet Massacre, appeared on BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe Show on Monday with the revised track, which now has this chorus:

"His name is Ronson and he mixes with both hands/Just like that river twisting through the dusty land/And when he cuts he really shows you all he can/Oh Ronson, Ronson dance across the Rio Grande."

"I loved the first four albums, [which are] some of my favourite records of all time, and I think it sounds like that," Ronson said on the program of the new Duran Duran material. "The stuff we've been working on so far is nice.

"Nick [Hodgson] from the Kaiser Chiefs came on and wrote a couple of songs, and it sounds good."

The interview and song can be heard on Duran Duran's website.
